Hashex was founded in 2018, with the mission of being the link between traditional financial markets and digital assets. We develop safe, simple and regulated products. In 2021, we launched the first crypto ETF in the world (BSX, Bermuda Exchange) that replicates the NCI , an index we co created with Nasdaq. The same year we also raised U$ 26 millions through venture capital firms such as  Valor Capital, Softbank and Coinbase Ventures.

Hashdex blends elements from both digital and financial markets. Different from a traditional asset manager, we think in growing fast through clients who want to be inserted in crypto’s investment funds.

Global Expansion at Hashdex

We are looking for a high-energy strategy/finance individual willing to drive the crypto revolution. As a Global Expansion Intern you will be one of the early members of the team that is going to expand Hashdex globally! At the nexus of fund management, digital assets, technology and regulation, You will work on strategic and operational activities needed to evaluate and implement Hashdex's international expansion strategy, which will include entering new countries and verticals in the U.S., Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America. As a key part of the Global Expansion team, You will help to build a reputable go-to-market playbook and execute it end-to-end in each country. 

Responsibilities

• Support the Global Expansion Team in various activities to launch Hashdex in new markets and verticals. 
• Produce insightful analysis on various topics such as market prioritization and entry strategies, competitive landscape and market developments.
• You will be involved in launching new countries working with various stakeholders on topics such as Product, Regulatory and Compliance, Go to Market, Partnerships with a lot of exposure to senior team members and to external partners.
• Work closely with Hashdex's global teams (Operations, Product, Technology, and Legal) to design and execute an operations and implementation process in each market.
• Contribute to create and to execute on a playbook to scale a crypto asset manager globally, in this fast moving and frontier space – from strategy, to partnership and day to day operations.
• Engage local stakeholders in the target countries, such as asset managers, exchanges, banks and distribution platforms, lawyers and others, to ensure that we are turning over all the rocks and are building a solid business case.

What we are looking for 

• Students from the 3rd to the 8th semester of top tier Brazilian universities in Business, Economics, Finance or Engineering.  
• Ability to aggregate information from a variety of quantitative and qualitative sources and make sensible business recommendations.
• Exceptional analytical skills and strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Independent, entrepreneurial and hands-on with a keen interest to learn about the digital assets and crypto industries.
• Genuine intellectual curiosity and excitement about navigating ambiguity and tackling multi-faceted business challenges.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Fluent in English.
