Descrição:
- Degree in Engineering / Law with proven track record of experience on contractual, commercial and technical qualication;
- Fluent English;
- Knowledge of contract language, claim process and legal requirements across a variety of contract types;
- Ability to review major complex contracts to identify, communicate risks and mitigation strategies;
- Claims reporting and claim preparation.
- Organize and adapt the Contract / Claims Management system / documents;
- Implement, prepare and substantiation of facts, correspondence, negotiations, reporting, settlement of accounts;
- Provide general guidance to the project and project management team for any contract matters in form of general contract management awareness training, familiarization sessions for project-specific project change and claim management procedures, etc.;
- Flag issues that might result in delay or claim and advise of any risks that will affect the overall timely delivery of the project, significant cost escalation or potential opportunities for cost reduction;
- Prepare in anticipation for the defenses to counterclaims and advice regarding retrospective analysis for EOTs (Extension of Time), prolongation costs, disruption and delay analysis;
- Prepare of project Claim Management strategy regarding selected contractual partners;
- Screens all incoming and outgoing project correspondence with focus on change and claim relevant issues or events;
- Provide contract management-oriented guidance to individual members of the project for specific issues or events, by contract interpretation, drafting appropriate letter correspondence, minutes of meeting, reports, etc.;
- Identifies claims risks and opportunities and develops claim defense and claim strategies;
- Support project and project management team in defending against unjustified claims from any contracting parties.
