Education/Experience:

  • Proven solid experience in managing projects in IT and/or business
  • Proven capability managing a project in more than one functional area, in more than one location
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to and utilize cultural differences in the way of managing, structuring and manning projects and the way of working with in the projects
  • Agile Project management experience
  • Experience in working for the Volvo Group or automotive segment is a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus
  • Bachel or Degree
  • Qualification/Certification in project management or equivalent
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
  • Co-operates with all stakeholders to define vision, business value/business case, scope, project objectives, requirements and deliverables for the project with in the framework decided by the Steering Committee
  • Leads the planning and implementation of project as well as project timelines
  • Manages project tasks, resources and budget
  • Quality assurance & management
  • Provides direction and support to project team
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Plan, organize, report and follow up the assignment
  • Ensure Change Management activities, communication, organizational changes, competence requirements, deployment strategy, training and roll-out
  • Identify, articulate and engage stakeholders (Stakeholder Management)
  • Ability to manage larger and complex projects as well as to work with senior management level
  • Brings strategic as well as cultural aspects in to the way projects are managed and structured
  • Goes beyond lessons learned; creating good practices and proposing improvement of project management methods, tools and guidelines
  • Use the Volvo Group Project Management Methods, Templates, Tools, Policies, Guidelines and Processes
  • May have deliveries and project resources in different countries, sites or units
  • Act as Scrum Master when needed
  • Acts as a mentor to colleagues and shares experiences
