Mandatory qualification:
Five or more years diversified and progressive work experience in procurement, with multiple international stakeholders in a multinational environment;
Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts and continuous improvement efforts;
Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in reading the market;
Talent in negotiations and networking;
Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers;
Strong leadership capabilities;
Ability to manage multiple priorities within deadline and prioritize effectively, while delivering high-quality work;
Solution-oriented with a high sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and meeting tight deadlines;
Advanced knowledge on Excel;
Background on Procurement SAP procedures and contract management;
Know how to conduct projects of international scope;
Influence and engagement, to ensure that the company s strategic plan is aligned with the other areas and coordinated for its execution according to the Apex objectives.
Desirable education:
- Bachelors degree in Management, Engineering, Business Management, or Logistic or related areas;
- It will be a differential to have Certification of Apics CSCP.
Mandatory languages:
- English at Fluent Level;
- It will be a differential to have Spanish at an Advanced level.
Identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals;
Develops and implements strategies for procuring, supporting services and stock levels;
Liaises with key company employees to determine their product and service needs;
Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for the company;
Support payment terms negotiation to bring best cash flow to the business;
Identifies and researches potential new suppliers, that can bring best products with more competitive prices;
Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships;
Collaborate with key people to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company;
Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements;
Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs;
Devise and use different sourcing strategies based on strategic risk mapping;
Perform all procurement and contracting activities including pre-qualification, tender management, negotiation, and preparation of contracts;
Identify areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results;
Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost down and improvement opportunities;
Develop key relationships with business stakeholders and global commodities managers to improve business;
Evaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries.
